SUMMARY OF CAREER TRANSITION SUPPORT

Typically, our "Pathways to Life Transitions Program" includes the following items which can be customized to your company's needs:


INITIAL CONTACT AND OUTREACH


SELF PACED ACTIVITIES IMMEDIATELY PRESENTED TO EMPLOYEE

-The Rich Cycle of Life Transitions.  To help the transitioning employee understand the normal transition process that they will be experiencing as they go through their change. We want them to understand that what they are feeling is very normal and necessary.

-Inspirational Quotes for Life Transitions. Words and inspiring pictures for reflection and to inspire them as they start to consider the possibilities for what comes next.

-Take Time for You.  A list of creative and energizing activities to help them become energized and to inspire their imagination!  We suggest they start focusing on these suggestions prior to the first workshop and continue as they determine that next pathway for their life.


ASSESS YOUR STRENGTHS UTILIZING STRENGTHS FINDER 2.0

Focusing on our strengths and talents is more important to our success than our role, our title, or even our pay.  Gallup developed an assessment to help us distinguish our strengths and then develop them to figure out where we fit in.  Participants will receive the Strength Finder 2.0 book as well as complete the online assessment. This information will be used as a tool in their personal coaching sessions.


PATHWAY TO LIFE TRANSITIONS WORKSHOP (ONE DAY GROUP)

In this session we will set a firm foundation for their next steps whether it is a new job, a change in career direction, starting a new business, or retiring.   The session will be interactive; and hopefully an underlying outcome will be that group members build camaraderie and are able to support each other as they move forward.

Conversations will include;

1.  The Rich Cycle of Life Transitions

2. “If you think you can or think you can’t, you are RIGHT!” The Power of Positive Thinking and the role it plays in your success.

3. Creative Tension – A model that will guide you to create a vision of your desired results, an honest look at current reality, and a process and strategy to keep you focused on your long term goal.

4. Strengths Finder 2.0 – Looking at your results and using it as a tool to guide you to distinguish and understand your talents and strengths.

5. The Impressive Power of Networking and the role that it will play in your next steps overview and pre-assignment prior to your individual session.

6. Company YOU!  Building the advertising campaign for what you determine is your pathway forward recognizing that YOU are the salesperson and YOU are the product!


All ABOUT YOU!  - ONE HALF DAY ONE-ON-ONE SESSION

Whether they are immediately looking for another job or transitioning to another phase in their life such as starting a business, retiring, or taking a time out to decide what comes next; this session will be designed to fit their needs at this point in time it is appropriately titled;  ALL ABOUT YOU!  This will be a one-half day session; and participants are going to be amazed at how impactful this session is to their self esteem and to feeling empowered to be successful.

-If they are a JOB SEEKER

We will thoughtfully and deliberately prepare them to walk away with a finalized resume; a focused job search strategy; and a feeling of being totally prepared to successfully interview with their personalized answers to interview questions, and detailed success stories that support their experience and stated strengths.

-If they are choosing A DIFFERENT PATH at this point

We will guide and inspire them to create a life transitions plan that will support their next step whether it is retirement, a time out, or starting their own business.


ONE-ON-ONE COACHING

Personalized coaching will be available on a weekly basis by phone and/or email for three months from start of their program. It is recommended that they check in with their consultant at least once per week.

Follow up supportive conversations are key to ensuring that they stay focused on their defined plan, are supported through their disappointments, encouraged by their continued actions and celebrated as they make progress.
